Wesley J. Paul has practiced law since 1996, concentrating in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law, particularly for emerging growth companies. Paul was previously associated with Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston & Rosen, P.C. and Morrison Cohen Singer & Weinstein, LLP, where he developed financing expertise through his representation of traditional lenders, asset based lenders and private equity funds. Mr. Paul is experienced in representing public and private technology companies and negotiating licensing and other intellectual property transfers or dispositions. He also has extensive experience in Securities Exchange Act compliance work and general corporate counseling. Paul is knowledgeable about doing business in China and recently has been involved with several transactions involving Chinese operating companies seeking to access the US securities markets by merging into domestic entities. Wesley Paul received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, in 1991 from Harvard University and his J.D. degree in 1996 from the University of Michigan School of Law. Mr. Paul is fluent in Mandarin. |
