As Northwest regional president Wes Lawrence oversees revenue contribution margin expense management and growing the client base in all franchise businesses (Retail Business Banking Key Private Bank Middle Market and Community Development) in the four districts comprised of KeyBank's Northwest Region - Alaska Oregon Seattle-Cascade and South Puget Sound. He will also collaborate and share accountability with senior sales executives from Key Private Bank to ensure the seamless delivery of those products and services to clients across Key's Pacific Northwest footprint.
Prior to being named regional president Wes was the Oregon district president. He joined the bank in 1984 as a vice president and commercial lender and has risen through the executive ranks serving as a senior vice president and sales manager and executive vice president and regional executive for Key PrivateBank. Wes began his banking career as a teller in California while still in school.
Wes is deeply involved in the Portland community serving as 2005 chairman of the March of Dimes (Oregon) WalkAmerica. He currently serves on the board or in leadership positions for the Portland Business Alliance (Chamber of Commerce) State of Oregon Debt Advisory Commission Caldera Northwest Business for Culture and the Arts (NWBCA) and the Multnomah Athletic Club. His past board appointments include the Portland Art Museum Oregon Bankers Association and the Oregon Independent College Foundation.
Wes graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a bachelor's degree in Economics as well as the University of Washington's Graduate School of Business. |
