Wes Butterfield consults directly with campuses on achieving enrollment and net revenue goals through the strategic use of financial assistance, ForecastPlus predictive modeling, and general enrollment management consulting. His 14 years of higher education experience have been spent in enrollment management at Cornell College (IA) and in college advancement at both Cornell College and the University of Iowa Foundation.
Previous campus experience
Most recently, Mr. Butterfield served as director of admission for Cornell College. His primary responsibilities included supervising the admissions staff and assisting with the development, creation and execution of the overall recruitment plan. During his tenure at Cornell the admissions staff stopped a three-year decline in entering student enrollment. In the fall of 2003, Cornell’s entering class was the largest in five years and had the strongest academic profile in more than 10 years. Further accomplishments included creating the college’s first comprehensive recruitment plan and revamping the scholarship program to provide greater access to the college for students and their families.
