Werner Karl Koepf has more than 35 years’ experience in technology company management, including 22 years with Texas Instruments, where he rose to become vice president of the European Semiconductor Group. From 1993 until his retirement in 2002, he held various senior management positions with Compaq Computer, most recently as CEO and chairman of Compaq Computer, EMEA and as executive chairman, Compaq Computer International. Mr. Koepf was named a director of SCM Microsystems in February 2006. He currently sits on the boards of telent plc (formerly Marconi Corporation plc) and PXP Software AG and is advisor for venture capital firms Techno Venture Management GmbH and Invision AG. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Munich and a bachelor’s degree with honors in electrical engineering from the Technical College in St. Poelten, Austria. |
