Wendye Robbins, MD has distinguished herself as a leading innovator, entrepreneur, clinical scientist, and practitioner in the field of pain pharmacology. She is a frequent lecturer and author in the field of pain and active researcher in the field of neuropharmacology. Dr. Robbins holds an ongoing appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Robbins was formerly Director, President, Chief Medical Officer, and Scientific Founder of NeurogesX, Inc. Dr. Robbins is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business. She received her MD from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She undertook post graduate training in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and in anesthesiology and pain medicine at the Johns Hopkins University Medical Institutions.
