Wendy comes to Cary Street Partners, LLC with over 18 years experience in the securities industry. She began her career with E F Hutton (merged to become Shearson, Lehman, Hutton, Inc.) in 1985 starting out as the New Accounts Clerk/Receptionist in Sarasota, Florida. After five years of service she followed the branch manager to Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc opening the first branch in the State as a Sales Assistant. Wendy joined A.G. Edwards and Sons in 1994 where she served as a Registered Financial Associate in Grand Junction, Colorado. She obtained her Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses in 1998. Wendy returned to the east coast in 2000 and continued as a Registered Operations Manager for Legg Mason in McLean, VA and after transferring to Fredericksburg, VA served as a Registered Financial Associate, Cashier and Wire Operator. Wendy has supported her previous communities through volunteering with the Boys and Girls Clubs and Habitat for Humanity. She is also a long time supporter of the United Way Foundation in the communities she has resided. She had the opportunity to work with high risk teens during team and trust building challenges and excursions. Wendy solely raised two children who are now grown and she currently makes her home in Spotsylvania with her fiancé Ron Ames. |
