Wendi Finney joined the ProNews 7 team in September of 2007.
She anchors the 6 and 10 newscasts every weekday, alongside Mitch Roberts.
Wendi grew up in Amarillo, graduating from West Texas A and M University with a bachelor's in mass communications and broadcasting.
She has been in broadcast journalism for more than ten years.
Most of that time was spent in Amarillo. However, she did spend one year in Oklahoma City, working for KFOR-TV. There she received an award from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasting
for the best morning show in the state.
In her spare time, Wendi likes playing the guitar and learning how to play golf. She's a die-hard Cowboys fan and a proud Buff.
By far her favorite thing to do is spend time with her wonderful family and friends. |
