Alex Weisselberg is Vice President, Latin America of ABS Consulting. Alex's background includes business management and development, strategy development and international operations. He joined ABS Consulting in 2003 from Enron Energy Services, where he served as Senior Director - North American Field Operations. Prior to Enron, Alex held the position of President of Amoco Venezuela Petroleum Company, where he led Amoco's entry and operations in Venezuela. In his 20-year career with Amoco, he held various positions in business development, international negotiations and financial areas for its U.S. operations as well as operations abroad.
Alex holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, majoring in Financial Management and International Finance. He also holds a master's degree in Engineering and bachelor's degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University. He served as a member of the board of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce and the Inter-American Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
As Vice President of Latin American operations, he oversees the performance of the Latin America Division including operations in Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Venezuela. |
