Weems Turner is general manager for LaBarge's Stafford, Tex., manufacturing facility. The electronics manufacturing operation specializes in custom hybrid circuits and high-temperature electronic assemblies, primarily for the oil and gas industry.
Turner joined LaBarge in 1998. Previously, he was vice president and general manager for Mark Products, where he held executive management positions for more than a decade. In addition, he served in various engineering positions for Baker International Corp., an oil services company, and prior to that for Brown & Root, Inc., a construction company.
Turner earned his MBA from the University of Houston, graduating summa cum laude, and his bachelor's degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds two U.S. patents and is a member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. He also served as first lieutenant in the U.S. Army and was decorated with a Vietnam Service Medal. |
