Mr. Pambianchi has been a health care business consultant and entrepreneur for over 20 years. He has been the Founder, President and CEO of two well regarded strategic consultant firms in health care (Fritzsche, Pambianchi & Associates and Owen, Pambianchi & Associates) and a co-founder of several health care technology start-ups (Discovery Laboratories, The Immune Response Corporation, Cortex Pharmaceuticals, and Array Medical, Inc.).
As a consultant, Mr. Pambianchi has been directly involved in over 200 client assignments involving biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, devices, diagnostics, services, medical foods and natural products. These assignments encompassed the development of market entrance strategies (U.S. to Europe, Japan to U.S., and Europe to U.S.), valuation analysis, private and public financings, due diligence analysis, expert testimony and analysis, acquisitions, divestitures, licensing, and corporate alliances.
In 1984, Mr. Pambianchi founded The Medical Business Publishing Corporation (MBPC) which conceived and published The Medical Business Journal, highly respected in the field for its unique and thorough analyses of industry trends and technology and a pioneer in highlighting promising, emerging companies and conducting in-depth interviews with leading industry executives. MBPC was also the first to produce an in-depth analysis of mergers and acquisitions in health care. MBPC was sold to a large market research firm in 1989.
Prior to consulting to the industry, Mr. Pambianchi held a number of positions at the diagnostic subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, rising from field sales person to Director of Corporate Development, Special Advisor to the President and ex-officio Board member in his ten year tenure.
Mr. Pambianchi received his B.S. in Business Management from Long Island University and his Masters in Business from Columbia University. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Array Medical, Inc. |
