W. Wayne Woody is an entrepreneur and investor. He is a certified public accountant and has worked with KPMG LLP, an international accounting and consulting firm for over 30 years. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Woody was responsible for Professional Practice and Firm Risk Management in the southeastern United States and Puerto Rico. Mr. Woody was appointed the Securities and Exchange Commission Reviewing Partner with responsibilities for reviewing significant southeastern client filings with the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission. Mr. Woody is a current Board of Directors member for the American Red Cross, Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter and the American Heart Association for Metropolitan Atlanta. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Wells Real Estate Investment Trust, The Wells Real Estate Investment Trust II and the Wells Family of Funds as well as Coast Dental Services, Inc., Gold Kist, Inc and American HomePatient, Inc. Mr. Woody is a former member of the Georgia State University Foundation Board of Trustees. Former Chairman, Board of Trustees, Georgia Center for the Visually Impaired and former President of Georgia State University Alumni Association. Mr. Woody has a Masters of Business Administration, Georgia State University and Bachelors of Science, Middle Tennessee State University. |
