Wayne L. Delker has been vice president - Global Research & Development since 1999. In this role, he serves as the company's chief technical and environmental executive, leading worldwide R&D of all of the company's products, providing technical and scientific guidance within the operating divisions and other staff functions, and overseeing the company's health, safety and environmental activities. He also leads Clorox's multifunctional process for developing new products and improving existing products.
Prior to joining Clorox, Delker spent 14 years with General Electric, where he served as general manager of Six Sigma Quality for GE Silicones and general manager of Technology for GE Silicones. He also worked for five years as a research chemist for Union Carbide.
A native of Pennsylvania, Delker holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Chicago. He received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Columbia University. |
