Wayne Kugel serves as Vice President of Operations, responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, information technology and facilities. Kugel joined Cray in November 2001 and served as Program Director for the "Red Storm" program, a joint effort between Cray and Sandia National Laboratories, and its commercial successor, the Cray XT3 supercomputer. Prior to joining Cray, he led the worldwide Enterprise Customer Analytics group for IBM Business Intelligence, working with over 30 Fortune 500 companies to implement prediction algorithms and decision support tools to improve the economics between supply and demand. Prior to that, he worked for Carlson Marketing Group in a variety of Information Technology roles, implementing marketing automation and analysis applications. Kugel received a B.A. in Management Information Systems from University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. |
