Mr. Roe was the Founding Officer and Chairman of Covance Health Economics and Outcomes Services, Inc. from 1988 through 1999. Prior to that, he served as Vice President for Economic and Health Policy for the Health Industry Manufactures Association. He has been an advisor on health policy and pharmaceuticals pricing to the U.S. Congress, Medicare Program and Blue Cross Association. He is widely recognized as a pioneer in reimbursement strategy and pharmacoeconomics for all sectors of the life sciences industry. Mr Roe played a major role in developing and executing successful pricing and reimbursement strategies for EPO, GCSF, Alfa Interferon, Ceredase, Enbrel, TPA, Botox, and scores of other blockbuster life sciences innovations. Mr. Roe currently sits on the Boards of Directors of Aradigm, Inc., ISTA Pharmaceuticals Inc., Aderis Pharmaceuticals, Zonare, Inc. and Intrapace, Inc. He is a strategic advisor to several venture capital funds and serves on the executive committee of the Maryland Angels Fund. |
