Warren Schad is a senior managing director at The McLean Group, a Northern Virginia based investment bank serving the middle market. Mr. Schad has more than 25 years combined industry and banking experience. He has been CFO of several technology companies, two of whom he sold, and has held senior positions in merchant and commercial banking, concentrating on leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and raising debt and equity. Over the last fifteen years, Mr. Schad has been Chief Financial Officer of companies in the technology, media and real estate industries. While in industry, he designed and helped execute strategic planning, acquisitions, raised debt and equity, restructured $1 billion of senior and subordinated debt and successfully led a company turnaround. Mr. Schad has also designed and implemented accounting systems, forecast models and reporting systems. Prior to his industry experience, Mr. Schad held a number of senior positions in merchant and commercial banking. He was in charge of the U.S. corporate finance division of a large European financial organization. He was also Senior Managing Director of the U.S. Division of a Canadian financial institution and the Senior Managing Director for a mezzanine fund. In these positions, he specialized in leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and the placement of debt and equity. Mr. Schad has a Bachelor in Business Administration from Adelphi University and an MBA in corporate finance from Pace University. He is also a National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) registered representative (Series 7, 63). |
