Warren J. Holmes joined Sigma-Tau Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2001 as Director of Human Resources. Previously, Holmes worked at BDO Seidman, LLP, serving as Regional Director of Operations, Executive Director of Human Resources, and Partner-in-Charge of Partner Matters. He brings extensive experience in a variety of human resource and operational areas to Sigma-Tau. In human resources, Holmes has considerable working knowledge of the strategic visioning process, leadership and management development process, competency modeling systems, performance development systems, human resource information systems, personnel relations, labor law, recruiting, training, and benefits. In operations, he has a comprehensive knowledge of the business planning process, mergers and acquisitions, and operational analysis. Holmes is a member of the Human Resources Roundtable, American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He is actively involved in community organizations including the American Heart Association, Junior Achievement Work Program, United Way, Urban League, World Affairs Council, and is a board member of Community Living Alternatives.
