Mr. Lightfoot is a labor and employment litigator, and his primary practice area consists of representing management in all types of employment disputes. He has fourteen years of experience, has tried numerous cases in federal and state courts and before various federal, state and/or local administrative bodies, and has argued in front of the Eleventh Circuit and District of Columbia Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Lightfoot regularly advises clients in all aspects of the employment relationship including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Mine Safety and Health Act. He frequently drafts and enforces non-competition, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements and advises clients in all aspects of their employment agreements.
