Prepared and filed an expert report in a breach of contract case relating to long-term leases of office equipment.
Investigated and analyzed damages relating to the failure and liquidation of an offshore hedge fund.
Calculated damages related to the alleged theft of trade secrets and copyright infringement in the home safety industry. Measures of damages included lost profits disgorgement of profits and reasonable royalty.
Prepared financial analysis for an international arbitration in the health insurance industry involving the alleged wrongful termination of an executive. Analysis included valuation of employee stock options as an element of damages.
Performed analysis relating to discovering and correcting the improper accounting treatment of inventory and payables in several large corporations in diverse industries.
Reviewed and investigated questionable claims for a Department of HHS benefit program. Investigation involved analysis of claims and related documents as well as interviews with relevant parties.
Analyzed and traced transactions through several inter-related multinational financial institutions to investigate a suspicious $24 million change in capital of an acquired bank.
Analyzed GAAP issues surrounding a purchase price dispute involving the acquisition of a multi-national chemical company.
Evaluated damages relating to an alleged executive-level wrongful termination and calculated counterclaim lost-profits damages on behalf of the employer. Alleged wrongful termination damages included analysis of employee stock options.
Managed the analysis of the effects of debt subordination on partnership distributions in a case involving a complex interrelated organizational structure and multiple related party transactions in the real estate industry.
Analyzed post-acquisition sales tax liability for a national dollar store chain involved in multi-state review of pre-acquisition tax practices.
