Wanda Wells has served in many capacities since joining Provident Community Bank in 1975 including Accounting Manager Human Resources Manager and Stock Conversion Officer. In 1985 Ms. Wells was elected Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors of Provident Community Bank and currently retains that position.
In 1995 Ms. Wells received the title of Vice President and became a member of the senior management team. Ms. Wells was appointed Senior Vice President in 2002 and promoted to Chief Administrative Officer in 2003.
Ms. Wells’ education includes graduating from Union High School in 1974 numerous training courses offered by the Institute of Financial Education and the South Carolina Bankers Association computer training management development school and training with all online computer systems. Ms. Wells completed the Dale Carnegie Course in May 2000.
Her civic and professional activities include serving on the Board of Directors of Union Services Inc. for six years and as treasurer in 1996 and 1997. She is a past member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries Inc. Ms. Wells is a member of the South Carolina Sheriff’s Association Ladies Auxiliary.
