Wanda Hagan Golson handles commercial litigation and bankruptcy-related for the Firm. She was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1983 and the New York Bar in 1988. She is a graduate of Florida State University, B.A. summa cum laude 1979 and the University of Virginia School of Law, JD 1983, where she was an editor of the Virginia Journal of International Law. Prior to joining the firm, she was associated with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson in New York City and with Trenam, Simmons, Kemker, Scharf, Barkin, Frye, O'Neill in Tampa, where she was a shareholder. She heads the firm's representation in state and federal court, including representing clients in receivership actions, covenant not to compete litigation, and breach of contract cases. She has handled litigation proceedings in Chapter 11 cases throughout the State including preference and fraudulent transfer actions. She is a member of the Federal Bar, the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar and the Florida Justice Association (formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers). She is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
