Walter Tomlinson joined Statesman s Merger and Acquisition advisory practice as a Principal in January 1998. Prior to joining Statesman, Walter co-founded and was Managing Director of Tomlinson Cizik, Inc. ("TCI"), a private merchant banking and consulting firm pursuing direct acquisition opportunities for its two principals. Within TCI, Walter was extensively involved in all phases of the acquisition process including candidate identification, valuation, purchase structure, negotiations and due diligence. Walter s business experience also incorporates over seven years in day-to-day operations management as an owner of both growth and turnaround businesses. His initial company, an industrial roofing and maintenance contractor achieved five consecutive years of earnings and revenue growth, prior to the sale of his interest in 1993. His second operating company was a turn-around of a troubled environmental contractor that was acquired through TCI. Walter is a graduate of the University of Houston with a BBA in Finance. He serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations and is the current President of the Texas Lyceum Association. He is married with two children |
