Mr. Stryker joined Chindex in 1985. He is responsible for company wide administration of all representative offices and subsidiaries. He was initially responsible for sales of capital medical equipment and served as a Product Manger for nationwide sales and marketing. He managed the capital equipment division from 1988 to 1998.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, Mr. Stryker's studies focused on political science and Chinese culture and language. In 1980-1981 he spent a year in post-graduate study at Nanjing University in China, and continued language study at Columbia University in New York City from 1982 to 1985.
Mr. Stryker has lived in China continuously since 1985 and is fluent in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese. He is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in China and is active in community events in Beijing. |
