As vice president corporate communications Walt Ungerer is responsible for all investor promotional marketing and media communications of the company. Mr. Ungerer has over 10 years of experience managing finance investor relations and communications within organizations that have earned recognition from Reuters Frost and Sullivan and an Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Prior to joining Vyyo Mr. Ungerer had been director of investor relations at Concurrent Computer Corporation from 2001 until October 2004. Previously he had held various positions with Scientific-Atlanta a Cisco company which he joined in 1996 as assistant manager of structured trade finance.
Mr. Ungerer was promoted to manager of corporate treasury services and manager of investor relations before leaving the company in 2001. Previously Mr. Ungerer spent four years in various finance related positions at Fortune 100 companies Eaton Corporation and Cooper Industries. Mr. Ungerer has moderated and participated in multiple industry forums sponsored by the local chapter of the Cable and Telecommunications Association of Marketers (CTAM). |
