Before joining Goldmark, Mr. Bembenista was Senior Vice President, Investment Banking at Josephthal & Co. Inc., a NYSE-member investment banking & brokerage firm. Prior to joining Josephthal, he was Managing Director of Goldmark Partners where he focused on publishing. Before joining Goldmark Partners in 1986, Mr. Bembenista was Vice President, Taxes for Associated Dry Goods Corporation, a $4-billion NYSE-listed department store company. Previously, he was Vice President, Taxes, for Tri-Star Pictures, a movie production joint venture among HBO, CBS and Columbia Pictures. Prior to that, Mr. Bembenista was Vice President, Taxes, for Esquire, Inc., a NYSE-listed communications company. Previously, he was International Tax Counsel for Joseph E. Seagram & Sons, Inc., and before that was with Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Bembenista graduated from The College of William and Mary (BA Economics) & from The University of North Carolina School of Law (JD). |
