Mr. Johnson is chairman of the boards of the Bank and the Company. He joined the Bank and managed its reorganization in 1990. Prior to joining the Bank, he was CEO/President of Allied Bank of Texas for 18 years before it was sold to First Interstate. He is a director of Kirby Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange marine transportation company. He is actively involved in numerous Houston charities and is past Chairman of the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boys Scouts of America. |
