Walter Hosp is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for HMS Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: HMSY). His responsibilities include financial reporting, budgeting and planning, financial operations, treasury and serves as a principal spokesperson to security analysts and investors.
Mr. Hosp comes to HMSY with 15 years of experience in senior financial executive positions for large publicly-traded healthcare and insurance companies, most recently as Vice President & Treasurer of Medco Health Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:MHS). At Medco, Hosp built and managed all treasury activities related to the spin-off of Medco from Merck & Co.
Prior to Medco, Hosp served as Chief Financial Officer of Ciba Specialty Chemicals Corporation, and President of their Business Support Center. His background also includes extensive experience in corporate financings, investor relations, development, and M&A, with involvement in transactions totaling over $20 billion.
Mr. Hosp has served for 14 years on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Westchester and Putnam counties in New York.
He holds an BS and MBA in Finance from New York University. |
