Wain Beard joins IHS with more than twenty-five years of sales and sales executive experience. Wain began his career at International Business Machines (IBM) and held a number of sales and marketing positions.
Wain was previously a District Manager for the Oracle Corporation and then went on to become the Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific Operations for Sybase, Inc. At Sybase, Inc., Wain also developed Latin America and most recently was responsible for the strategic direction of the Sales, Marketing and Support for North and South America as Senior Vice President & General Manager. He was most recently Senior Vice President of Sales at Commerce One, Inc.
Wain holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco. |
