Wahid Ahmed has more than fifteen years of experience in software development including more than eight years of leading software teams and projects. He held leadership roles in fifteen product releases, which included five new products. Prior to joining R3Logic, he was working for Ansoft as a Manager of Software Engineering. At Ansoft, he built and led the software engineering group for the circuit simulation product called Nexxim. From 1995 to 2000,Wahid worked for DeLorme of Yarmouth, Maine. At DeLorme he performed at various levels and was responsible for many development projects including 3D mapping, image processing, and routing algorithms. He has extensive knowledge of software engineering methodology, programming languages and project management. Academically, he holds an MBA from Babson College concentrating on Global Management. He also holds an MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maine concentrating on Neural Networks, Image Processing and Signal Processing. |
