Dr. Waheed Qureshi is the Founder, Chairman and CTO of Zenprise Inc. The company is funded by premier silicon valley venture firms Mayfield Fund, Bay Partners and Shasta Ventures. Prior to Zenprise, Waheed founded Zambeel, a venture funded company that was focused on delivering scalable network attached storage sub-system. Prior to Zambeel, Waheed was at eXcelon Corporation where he focused on ObjectStore, the industry-leading distributed object-oriented database management system. His co-authored publications have appeared in ACM SIGMOD (Special Interest in Management of Data) and VLDB (Very Large Databases). Dr. Qureshi is a member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical Electronic Engineers), ACM (Association of Computing Machinery), Tau Beta Pai (National Engineering Honor Society), Eta Kappa Nu (Electrical Engineering Honor Society) and is the co-author of several US patents (pending). Dr. Qureshi's current technical interests and expertise include storage sub-systems, file & data management and autonomic computing. Waheed holds a Ph.D in computer sciences from USC. |
