Currently President of Pinnacle Entertainment, Mr. Hundley joined the Company in September 2001 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Pinnacle, Mr. Hundley was Executive Vice President and in the Office of the CEO at Harveys Casino Resorts in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. In that capacity, he ran the day-to-day operations from December 2000 through July 2001, when Harvey’s was purchased by Harrah’s Entertainment. From June 1993 through November 2000, Mr. Hundley served in various positions with Colony Capital, Inc., one of the country’s premier real estate-based private equity investment firms, based in Los Angeles, CA, and in 1997 became one of the firm’s senior partners. He was in charge of Colony’s gaming investments (including their purchase of Harveys in 1999), as well as other industry investment themes. On behalf of Harveys, he also led the purchase of the Bluffs Run Racetrack and Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa in 1999. From July 1988 to July 1991, Mr. Hundley was a Financial Analyst for the investment banking firm of Merrill Lynch in New York , New York and Los Angeles, California.
Mr. Hundley earned his B.S. degree in 1988 from Oklahoma State University and his MBA degree in 1993 from the University of Texas where he was a Sord Scholar.
