Dr. Herman leads CTRL's R&D group, and counts among his many accomplishments numerous patents, in both his native Ukraine and the United States. He graduated with honors from the Kiev's Aviation University in the former Soviet Union and earned a Masters degree in electronic engineering. He was awarded the Silver Medal from the USSR's National Exhibition of Achievements for his development of test equipment for aircraft navigation and landing systems, and their prestigious Gold Medal for inventing and developing an ultrasonic device with unique sensitivity and selectivity. Dr. Herman worked as a design engineer, senior design engineer, design team leader and Head of a Special Design Bureau in Kiev, Ukraine, from 1967 through 1993. In 1991, he earned a Ph.D. for his scientific achievements in non-destructive testing and technical diagnosis. |
