Professional Experience
Ms. Heger is an environmental compliance and litigation associate with experience in regulatory and administrative matters as well as toxic tort and general commercial litigation. Her practice also focuses on Proposition 65, California´s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.
Ms. Heger´s practice at Weston Benshoof has included cases involving air and water quality compliance, environmental litigation under state and federal laws, and failures to warn under Proposition 65. She regularly counsels clients on air quality compliance matters and advocates on their behalf before the South Coast Air Quality Management District. She is well versed in state and federal environmental law in many areas, particularly underground storage tanks, hazardous waste management, and myriad state and federal reporting requirements triggered by leaks and spills of hazardous materials.
