His management expertise includes business/ IT/operations strategy, business transformation, enterprise architecture, process excellence, and program management. He also has strong technical expertise in supply chain, ERP, and integration technologies.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron, Vivek was a senior manager at Accenture’s Supply Chain Management practice. While there, he consulted with many Fortune 500 companies and government organizations, and developed and delivered many projects of strategic importance to these clients. While in industry, he led many process improvement programs in media and telecom industries.

Biotech Medical Device Company
Led post-merger integration project in which new operating model and organization structure was developed and implemented. As a result of the merger, the company has emerged as a leader in its therapeutic area.
Defense War Fighting Organization
Led an $8 billion internal transformational merger in which new business architecture and an operating model were developed and implemented. As a result of the merger and transformation, the enterprise managed their human capital as a supply chain. Supporting the transformation concept included analyzing enterprise technical architecture and developing a multi-year $300+ million transformation program plan.
Mining Company
Developed a strategy to transform the organization’s operating model "From Wholesale Push to Demand Pull" to respond to new market conditions in which commodities demand far exceeds the supply, and capacity is limited. Developed an ERP-based solution architecture to support the transformation.
MRO Transformation Program
Conducted a detailed value diagnostic of the organization’s Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations, including a $3 billion operation. Defined and led the implementation of an integrated supply chain management program, expected to generate $170 million over five years.
Federal Agency
Worked with senior executives to create a vision and strategy for the modernization of the food aid supply chain, an over $3 billion spend, and distribution for domestic and international food aid programs. Developed a business case for getting $100 million+ in funding and led ERP-based solution architecture development.
Media and Consumer Products Company
Defined strategy and roadmap for multi-year business transformation program with a major ERP (SAP) implementation which would help to create top line growth in a diminishing market. Key components of this transformation were: responsive supply chain, driven by POS and retailer activities; integrated business and supply chain planning; integrated product development; and consumer insight-driven sales and marketing programs.
Telecom Equipment Manufacturer
Developed and implemented business processes for product development and manufacturing. The organization emerged as a showcase for the most innovative processes for design, engineering and manufacturing, in which new products were brought to market in record time.
