Virginia Vallorani was appointed Vice President of Retail in January of 2006. Previous to this promotion, Ms. Vallorani held the position of Vice President Retail Store Operations. She joined Maidenform in April 2000 as Assistant Vice President Retail Operations.
Prior to joining Maidenform, Ms. Vallorani spent ten years at Etienne Aigner where she served seven years as Vice President of Retail Operations and three years as Director of Retail Outlet Stores. Previous to Etienne Aigner, Ms. Vallorani spent nine years at Strawbridge & Clothier in a variety of positions.
Ms. Vallorani has 25 years of experience in all aspects of retailing which include: financial planning & analysis, store operations and expense control, store design, real estate, merchandising, marketing and human resources. Over the past twelve years of her career, Ms. Vallorani has been involved with several strategic planning sessions, corporate task forces, systems conversions, and oversaw the growth of a retail chain from 1 to 70 stores. She has been invited as a speaker at various industry forums. Ms. Vallorani received a B.S. in Design and Merchandising from Drexel University. |
