Virginia manages the work flow and scheduling for all interactive projects, matching the right person with the right skills to each project. She identifies the talent who can deliver extraordinary strategy, user experience design, Web design and programming and trains them to Capstrat’s exacting standards. Her passion for creating a process that produces excellence has driven much of our interactive success and growth. She also continues to oversee various client relationships, including RBC Centura and Genworth Financial. She worked her way up from her initial role at Capstrat as Web producer. She proved to be a strong catalyst for our project teams, producing exceptional interactive work from overhauling the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy’s Web site to managing the creation of a Web site template for the national Council of Better Business Bureaus. Her contributions to the Web strategy for the Amendment One campaign in 2004 helped the self-financing bonds referendum pass in North Carolina, changing the state constitution. In fact, her work on these high-profile sites has led to projects of increasingly larger scope. Virginia has been working in Internet communications and Web production since 1998. A native North Carolinian, she learned her skills as an interactive producer/account executive at a multicultural advertising agency in New York City. Her list of clients include Ernst & Young, Johnson & Johnson, JP Morgan Chase/Banco Chase, Hughes Networking Systems, the World Wrestling Federation and the magician David Blaine. Virginia is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she double majored in media studies (TV, radio, film) and English (Southern contemporary fiction). She is a member of the Triangle Usability Professionals Association. |
