Virginia Gambale has served as a Director of Motive since July 2004. Ms. Gambale retired from Wall Street in 2003 after a successful career with Marsh McClellan, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and Alex Brown in which she largely held senior technology positions. Her career culminated in 1997 with her appointment as CIO of DB’s Bankers Trust Alex. Brown, where she was lauded as one of the top three CIO’s on Wall Street. Ms. Gambale left the pure technology track in 1999 to become the head of DB Strategic Ventures, and wind down their $100 million investment portfolio. This led to her appointment as general partner in DB Capital Ventures until her retirement from Wall Street. Ms. Gambale has served on a number of privately held boards including IQ Financial (Chairman), Workbrain, Synchronoss, Cokinetic, and Adeptra among others.
