Virginia responsibility as Chief Technology Officer & Chief Information Officer is to ensure that MasterLink remains knowledgeable of the latest innovations in technology and how they can serve the business needs of our clients. She joined MasterLink in 2005 as Director, Unified Communications and has over 14 years of experience in business development and analysis, as well as an extensive IT technical background. Our clients benefit from her knowledge and expertise in various technologies, as well as her experience in business analysis, project management and process. Virginia is a member of Cisco's Midwest Technical Leadership Council.
Prior to joining MasterLink, Virginia was employed with Tushaus Computer Services as a Computer Telephony Manager, where she designed and implemented IP Telephony solutions and call centers. Virginia developed best practices in implementing voice solutions that are recognized in the industry. She was responsible for pre-sales support as well as managing a team of voice implementation specialists, and provided extensive consulting as it related to design, implementation and management of Customer Service Call Centers.
In previous positions, she provided business analysis consulting in the areas of strategic technology planning, disaster recovery planning, software evaluation and assessment, helpdesk support center design and planning, software training and project management services. Virginia also served as an instructor at WCTC for over seven years, teaching various introductory networking and computer classes.
Virginia is a trained graphic designer, and prior to choosing a career in technology, she held a variety of marketing and sales support positions. She holds a BA in Marketing/Graphic Arts from Mount Mary College and is currently participating in leadership and team management training. Virginia continues to enjoy her art background by painting and teaching local artists how to enjoy the arts. |
