Mr. Vinod Sharma is a Senior Managing Engineer in Exponent’s Mechanical Engineering and Materials/Metallurgy practice. Mr. Sharma has over 17 years of broad based technical expertise spanning analysis testing program implementation and failure root cause analysis to improve reliability optimize maintenance and support design basis requirements at domestic and international electric power generation plants and at petrochemical facilities. He also has designed components for the drilling industry. Mr. Sharma has extensive hands-on experience with various advanced analytical software detailed computer-based analysis and testing tools including non-intrusive diagnostics and flow measurements experimental design and instrumentation data acquisition and digital signal processing structural and fatigue analysis of down hole subs computational fluid dynamic analysis of valves and finite element analysis of sealed bearing assemblies for down hole drilling motors. He has taught several technical courses on check valve degradation and advanced failure analysis and prevention. |
