Vince has a proven ability to generate stellar revenue and profit growth for underperforming mid cap companies. He has expertise in business turnarounds, new business development, organization development, investor relations and bank relations. He also has experience in joining brick and mortar to dot com format as a complementary business solution. Professional Experience Prior to BBK Vince was recruited as CEO by a NASDAQ traded company operating non-traditional loan centers, including payday loans and pawn. This was a $200 million public company engaged in the operation of 335 pawnshops, neighborhood financial centers and jewelry outlets in 14 states. He was asked to return the company to profitability and enhance image and acceptance within the community. Vince focused on redefining the business model, store rationalization, operating discipline, effective systems and creation of innovative marketing and merchandising programs. Within three years he was able to achieve record earnings per share (from $.10 to $.70), generate cash flow (zero to $20 million EBITDA) and eliminate $80 million in debt. Later, the company acquired controlling interest in a publicly traded pawn operation and Vince led development of an e-commerce profit center for specially selected merchandise; that led to the founding of a dot com start-up. In the early 90s Vince served as VP for Blockbuster Entertainment, Inc. He was recruited to resolve operating and expansion problems in the various zones of operation. Before his involvement, the Western Zone had 300 company stores. With Vince's assistance it grew to 600 stores, moving up from last place in profitability and store development to first place, and from last place in total revenue to second. Vince also led the integration of acquired music stores and introduced Discovery Zone childrens entertainment centers to the Western market. Before Blockbuster, Vince was a Partner at Peterson, Jacobs & Company, a boutique merchant banking firm in New York. While there he formed The PJL Restaurant Group, a partnership designed to evaluate and develop investments. He led or participated in a broad range of investments in retail and food service. Early in his career, Vince was with Winchells Donuts in California. He started as a Controller and was promoted to CEO. During Vince's eight years as CEO, Winchell's profit grew at a 25% annual rate and expanded to five countries outside the USA.
