Vincent Kelly is chief information officer of Equant and head of Processes & IT.
Based in London Vincent is a member of the Executive Committee that is responsible for the company's overall strategic direction.
Vincent is responsible globally for Equant's IT encompassing business support operations support and enterprise systems for Equant's divisions and functions. Equant and France Telecom combined is the leading global communications service provider to enterprise customers and Vincent's IT responsibilities extend to France Telecom's Enterprise Communications Services Division in order to ensure that IT is enabling a common experience for shared customers of both.
From 1997 to 2001 Vincent was president of Equant's Application Services Division one of three divisions of the company at that time with IT application sales and operations in Europe the Americas and the Asia Pacific region. He led the division in its delivery of electronic commerce electronic business and on-net applications to customers worldwide and maintained its strong presence in the airline airport travel and transportation vertical sectors through a worldwide customer base.
Prior to joined Equant in 1997 Vincent spent 18 years with Logica now LogicaCMG holding positions of increasing seniority principally in the telecommunications and finance sectors of this major IT services company providing IT consultancy systems integration and outsourcing services to clients. Immediately prior to joining Equant Vincent was divisional director leading divisions providing IT services to the telecommunications sector subsequently to the finance sector and finally to the manufacturing distribution transportation and retail sector.
Earlier in his career Vincent while working on IT projects for clients of Logica lived and worked in Europe Asia and in the United States.
Vincent is a graduate in Mathematical Sciences of Trinity College Dublin from where he also holds a master's degree in Computer Science |
