He has been Chief Executive Officer of FAIRPAY Solutions, a leading provider of specialty bill review services, since 2004 and co-founded the company in 1999. Under his leadership, a team of experienced healthcare and insurance professionals have developed innovative technology that determines the fair payment of medical bills. FAIRPAY’s clients include insurance companies, plan administrators and other healthcare payers. Relying on his educational background as a statistician and his extensive experience with hospital pricing, Mr. Drucker is the thought leader behind FAIRPAY's sophisticated mathematical models and patent-pending technology used to review specialty medical bills and issue jurisdictionally appropriate payment recommendations. Today, FAIRPAY is producing medical savings in excess of $15 million each month. Through listening to clients' needs, he has helped FAIRPAY’s team develop a number of leading-edge medical cost control products including: an implant cost containment solution that calculates the true costs of implantables used in surgeries and innovative medical cost containment products aimed at the emerging consumer-directed market. Prior to joining FAIRPAY Solutions, Mr. Drucker was CEO of Healthcare Plus Financial, a company providing reimbursement and strategic clinical pricing expertise to healthcare systems in the U.S. Under his management, this company grew its client base to more than 200 hospitals including proprietary chains (Columbia, Tenet), non-profits (UniHealth, Catholic Healthcare West), leading academic hospitals (Northwestern University) and community hospitals. During Mr. Drucker’s tenure, Healthcare Plus was consistently named one of the top-rated hospital contract management firms in the U.S., according to Columbia/HCA and Catholic Healthcare West hospital clients. His prior experience includes stints as a senior officer with several other hospital financial consulting, insurance and healthcare management companies. |
