Vincent Hartnett is a 21-year Penske veteran and has served as the President of Penske Logistics since January 1999. Mr. Hartnett also holds the position of Senior Vice President of Administration for Penske Truck Leasing. Mr. Hartnett began his duties at Penske in 1982 as Director of Consumer Rental Operations when the company merged with the truck leasing unit of his former employer, Hertz Corporation. Having revitalized the department, Mr. Hartnett was promoted to Vice President of Fleet and Rental in 1984. During the rapid growth phase of the industry in the mid-80's, his role within the company expanded and in late 1985 he was promoted to Senior Vice President, overseeing Penske's truck rental, real estate, fleet and purchasing operations. Prior to joining Penske, Mr. Hartnett worked at Hertz Corporation for ten years, where he served as Assistant Controller and New York Region Manager for the company's rental car business. He is a member of The Council of Logistics Management, as well as The Conference Board and the World Affairs Council. Mr. Hartnett graduated from Fordham University in New York. He and his wife, Donna, have two daughters and reside in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. |
