Vincent M. Rella is a Controller and Principal for Carlyle Capital Corporation. He is based in New York.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Rella served as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for Offitbank from 1986 through 1997 and was appointed Managing Director in 1998. Offitbank was primarily a fixed income investment advisor covering the major fixed income asset classes for managed accounts and mutual funds. It was acquired by Wachovia Bank NA in 2001. At acquisition, Offitbank's assets under management were $12 billion which subsequently grew to $19 billion. Mr. Rella designed and implemented Offitbank's multicurrency portfolio accounting system which Wachovia continues to utilize today within its operations. He was also the Secretary and Treasurer for Offitbank's two mutual fund complexes and served on the management, operation, integration and investment committees. Prior to joining Offitbank, Mr. Rella was employed by Richard A. Eisner & Company CPA's from 1981 - 1986.
Mr. Rella has a B.A. in accounting and economics from Queens College (CUNY) and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
