Vincent Beatty was appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer in February 2008, responsible for all treasury and capital markets matters affecting the bank, including a wide variety of funding, investing, hedging, and policy matters. Mr. Beatty joined Seattle Bank in May of 2004 as a senior portfolio manager and was appointed treasurer in July 2005.
From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Beatty owned and operated Great Learning Adventures, an association dedicated to providing tutoring services to underserved neighborhoods via partnerships with nonprofit organizations.
In 2000 and 2001, Mr. Beatty was senior vice president, retail financial officer for Chase Manhattan Mortgage, where he was responsible for establishing financial controls for direct first-mortgage and consumer lending.
Prior to his tenure at Chase Manhattan Mortgage, Mr. Beatty was an executive vice president at Glendale Federal Bank, where he variously provided leadership for secondary marketing, strategic planning, asset/liability management, product development and profitability, mortgage lending, consumer lending, banking operations, call center management, and corporate development.
Mr. Beatty earned his bachelor of arts in mathematical economics from Pomona College and his masters in business administration from UCLA, where he was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma academic honors society. |
