A 20-year technology veteran, Vincent J. Molinaro leads Internap’s business unit operations for IP Services, Colocation, CDN and Advertising Services, as well as all sales and marketing efforts. Before joining Internap in April of 2007, Molinaro served as President of the Europe & North Region for Alcatel-Lucent during which time he redefined business units and led associates in 41 countries.
Molinaro has held various senior positions across a range of geographies, product and market segments. For more than a decade, he held several roles at Lucent, including President of North America Region, leading the sales, technical support and delivery teams to grow the company’s service provider business and extending its legacy products into next-generation enterprise solutions. Molinaro also redefined and launched Lucent’s global business partner sales and support organizations. Other previous experience includes Vice President and COO of Lucent’s Europe, Middle East & Africa Regions. Prior to that, he was an executive in Lucent’s Data Networking Systems Group and the Applications Software Business Unit.
In the mid 80’s, Molinaro joined AT&T Bell Laboratories as a member of the technical staff and then transferred to AT&T Network Systems after a few years. During his tenure with AT&T, he held many global roles ranging from systems engineering and product management to marketing and business development. |
