Vince A. Elhilow is area chairman, South Florida Banking with geographic responsibilities for Southeast Florida.
Mr. Elhilow was apointed president of Fidelity Federal Bank & Trust in 1987, CEO in 1992 and served as chairman of the board from 2002 to 2006, when the company merged with National City Corporation. Prior to his appointment as president, Mr. Elhilow was manager of the Loan Department from 1973 to 1992 and executive vice president and chief operating officer from 1981 to 1987. Mr. Elhilow joined Fidelity Federal Bank & Trust in January 1963 and has been a director since 1984.
A resident of Florida for more than 60 years, Mr. Elhilow earned an associate of arts degree from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami.
He served from 1962-72 as a lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard Active Reserve. |
