Vince Wayland has been a member of Elevations Credit Union for over 30 years, serving as a Credit Union volunteer since 1999 on the 50 & Better Club Advisory Board and the Supervisory Committee, and the Board of Directors since 2003. Retired as a software engineer at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), Mr. Wayland holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University. He is a Board member for the National User Group of National Energy Research Super Computer Center (NERSC). He advised the City of Boulder through the Study Committee of the Transportation Advisory Board, and actively monitors the City of Boulder Flood Plain, transportation, and local developmental activities. In addition, Mr. Wayland has served on the Boards of various churches, has participated in the Boulder Chorale, and is a neighborhood activist. |
