Mr. Tummarello is experienced in all phases of power generation and
electric transmission systems. He has significant experience in
transmission planning, power plant engineering, operations, fuel
procurement, power marketing and environmental compliance. In
addition, Mr. Tummarello has provided litigation support, serving as an
expert witness in energy-related legal proceedings. Mr. Tummarello has
worked with Independent System Operators (ISOs) and electric utilities
providing high-level consulting services in the areas of power plant
environmental issues and market development and regional transmission
expansion planning issues, among others.

Project Management. As a consultant for ISO New England, Mr.
Tummarello managed an effort to engage vendors and consultants to
implement the utility’s Standard Market Design. He developed work
scope from draft market rules, administered the RFP process and
negotiated final contracts for a $100M project. In addition, Mr.
Tummarello served as project manager for the ISO New England multi-year
Regional Transmission Expansion Plan and chairman of the
Transmission Expansion Advisory Committee. He administered the RFP
process for ISO New England for the procurement of materials and
services for the construction of two major 345 kV transmission upgrades
costing $500M.
Power Generation and Energy Transmission Planning: As DVP for
Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc., Mr. Tummarello was responsible for
the electric generation business unit, including all plant operations and
maintenance activities, and the associated engineering, construction, fuel
purchasing, power marketing and environmental compliance activities.
As a consultant, he has performed detailed feasibility studies for on-site
generation applications for municipal, commercial and industrial energy
consumers.
Mergers and Acquisition. In his role as DVP of Orange and Rockland
Utilities, Inc, Mr. Tummarello oversaw the company’s generation
divestiture effort by preparing the offering memorandum, conducting
management presentations and responding to bidders’ inquiries. He
headed Orange and Rockland’s transition team responsible for all
operational, human resource and financial issues.
