Vince joined Openfirst in December 2006, bringing with him a wealth of manufacturing experience.
He began his career at Quad/Graphics in 1985 as a Finishing Department Technician. He advanced to stitcher operator and stitcher lead before being named into management in 1990. He became a shift supervisor that same year. During this time, Vince became part of a customer team for Time Inc. where he assisted in new work and process flows and implementation of new equipment and technology to continually improve the publisher's business.
In 1997, Vince transferred to Quad/Graphics' newly built Martinsburg facility as Finishing Department Manager and was charged with starting up and running Finishing operations. In this role, he capitalized on his extensive production knowledge and people-management skills to ensure the plant's Finishing operations achieved efficient, high-quality book production, while also focusing on leadership development and mentoring his crews. |
