Vijay Kumar has extensive experience in managing development of software products and managing large complex projects. He spent many years at IBM in senior management positions and was responsible for development of many successful products including HACMP/AIX. While at IBM, Vijay managed development of industry leading Net.Commerce business application server that allows e-business to be conducted on the Internet. It positioned IBM to participate in the huge emerging opportunity for e-commerce on the Internet. Vijay also developed the leading edge LL Bean e-commerce retail site as a reference site for IBM, including integration with the back-end legacy system for order fulfillment and inventory management. Net.Commerce has now evolved to Web Sphere. Currently, it is being deployed by major corporations throughout the world.Vijay holds an MS degree in Electrical Engineering. |
